I couldn't care less if it takes 5 days to export and render my finished project back into a compressed h.246 file for uploading to YouTube, as long as editing in the timeline itself is easier. I've heard converting/ingesting your A + B roll footage into enormous QuickTime Apple Pro-res 422 Files is a good idea?Īllegedly makes it much easier for Premiere to use / play back in the program window and timeline than h.264 files straight out of the cameraĭespite the enormous file sizes you will probably have for each project it should be faster than the dodgy MPEG I-Frame only defaults it always starts in, right?
